Review by hotel critic
Staying in this charming guest house was a delightful experience. The blend of traditional and modern décor adds character to the comfortable environment. My room featured a lovely fireplace, ample daylight, and an ensuite that offered the luxury of privacy. The space was neatly designed, ensuring everything I needed was within reach. The hosts were notably accommodating, particularly in addressing a minor issue we encountered. I appreciated their understanding nature when it came to storing luggage after checkout, which made my travels a bit easier. While breakfast wasn’t provided, there are plenty of delightful cafés just a short walk away, particularly after a day of exploration. Located only a 10-minute stroll from the Royal Mile and beautiful sites like the Edinburgh Castle, the location facilitated easy access to the city’s history. For those who appreciate a home-like atmosphere while exploring the vibrant culture of Edinburgh, this place could be a worthwhile choice.
